Curt Campbell guida quella grande band blues-rock che ti aspetteresti di ascoltare ogni venerdì sera nel tuo locale intriso di birra. Ma aggiungi un violino, una sezione fiati di prim'ordine, influenze jazz-fusion e hai un collettivo stilisticamente volatile che darà il cambio a qualsiasi locale. La voce e i testi di Campbell hanno una qualità narrativa che è un ottimo complemento al jump blues della band. Campbell è cresciuto a Marin County negli anni '60 e '70 e la sua musica riflette i suoni della scena musicale della Bay Area di San Francisco.
