Poco dopo il completamento del nuovo album, il fondatore dei Savoy Brown, il chitarrista / cantante / compositore Kim Simmonds ha perso la sua dura battaglia contro il cancro il 13 dicembre, appena una settimana dopo aver compiuto 75 anni. Mentre si riprendeva dai suoi trattamenti iniziali contro il cancro, Simmonds aveva iniziato a lavorare sul nuovo album che sarebbe diventato Blues All Around.
